What's at the Market September 17th

The Market will be open and fair weather is predicted.  You have 5 more weeks to enjoy this year's Farmers' Market.  I don't think we can top last week's great event, "Celebrate Your Heritage", but we can sure try.  Thank you to all our great Vendors, the Market raffle yielded $80 to help sustain the Market.

St. Andrew's will be serving breakfast this week from 7am to 11am or until they run out.

Market Community Committee Meeting Sept 14th

Our monthly Community Committee Meeting will be this Wednesday, September 14th at 5pm at City Hall in De Soto.  The meeting is open to the public and vendors.  Please consider being part of the planning for the Market.  We need your input.

Also, vendors and volunteers,  please put October 16th on your calendar for our Appreciation Dinner.  It will be held in the afternoon at Julie Ott's Farm.  More details will be given shortly.

WHAT'S AT THE MARKET SEPTEMBER 10th

We will host the 1st Annual "Celebrate Your Heritage" Day at the Market this coming Saturday, September 10th.  We have about 20 Vendors coming with their best produce, meat, chicken, baked goods, wares and more. Plus about 10 local artisans that will be demonstrating their craft and a group of Civil War Reenactors to round out the day.  How more exciting can it be!
