Market will be open until Oct 20th

The Farmers' Market is still going strong.  This week, Sept 29th, is our Art Mart week in which we invite an unlimited amount of crafters to join us.  Come and see their handcrafted wares and enjoy the live music.

St. Andrew's UMC will host a breakfast sponsored by the De Soto Ministerial Alliance.  The Ministerial Alliance needs your support to help those in need in our area.

The Market is winding down but the fall crop of produce is in abundance for some of our produce Vendors.  You just can't get it any fresher than picked Saturday morning, bought Saturday morning and on your table Saturday morning!

Some of your Vendors also have fresh baked goods for you to enjoy.  To go along with the baked goods the Vendors have fresh, local honey,  homemade jellies and jams.

Handmade crafts include quilts, baby blankets, jewelry, hair ties, hats, aprons, dish towels, children's customs and clothing and ornamental crafts.

Did I mention beef?  Our beef Vendor is in the Market this week with fresh, frozen, USDA inspected, farm raised beef.  You can't beat the taste of farm fresh beef.

We have a Kid's Korner from 9-11am. The children can make a craft while you shop.

If you haven't visited the Market yet this year, please take a Saturday in the next 4 weeks to come out and see what the Market has to offer.  It still is the best place to be on Saturday morning!

We will be open every Saturday until our last Market day, October 20th.

SEPT 15TH MARKET JOINS DESOTO FALL FESTIVAL

For one week only, the Farmers' Market will move to the De Soto Armory which is across from Walther Park so that we can join in celebrating the De Soto Fall Festival with the Chamber of Commerce.

The Market will be open from 8:00am until 3:00pm.  Please come out and buy fresh produce, baked goods, fresh frozen farm raised beef, hand crafted items and much much more.  All our Vendors are local, who live within 50 miles of De Soto, and they have grown or have made all their wonderful products.

The Market will have LIVE music by the "Back Porch Band", a local favorite group.

For the kids, we will have face painting available.

Don't forget, this is just for one week only, then the Market will be back at our regular location.

September 22nd we will host "Celebrate Your Heritage Day" at the Market.  We have a dozen or so old thyme crafters showing off their skills.  There also will be Civil War Reenactors that will be with us.

So come out and enjoy a day of shopping and history.

Hours will be from 8:00am till 12:00 Noon.
